custom urban Watercolors In Boston Area
I started creating these after moving to the South End, Boston. While walking around the neighborhood with my son to get to know the area, I completely fell in love with the red stone buildings and their vintage charm. I started taking photos to use as references to paint watercolors in my studio, and when I shared them in our neighborhood Facebook group, I began receiving lots of DMs from people interested in buying my art. After talking it over with my wife, we decided to open my store to sell my original artwork / prints and take commissions.
Watercolor sketches make such a lovely, thoughtful gift! They’re perfect for a couple moving into a new home, celebrating a first house purchase, or simply for anyone who wants to preserve a cherished memory of a special place.
Custom commissions start at $150 for an 8″ x 10″ size with a white mat that brings it to 11″ x 14″, ready for framing.
Also, I’d be happy to make it in a custom size—either smaller or larger—if you’d prefer.
Q&A
Do you sell prints of your commissions?
No, I only sell prints of my own personal artwork. When you commission a custom piece, I guarantee that the original artwork is 100% one-of-a-kind (1/1) just for you!
Do you sell the original artwork to your prints?
Yes! If you see the option ‘Original available’, it means I still have the original artwork with me.
Will my artwork arrive ready for framing?
Yes! All my commissions and prints are delivered with a white mat so they are ready for framing.
How long does it take to get a commission ready?
Typically, the artwork is ready within 2 weeks from the initial deposit.
(May vary, being faster or slower depending on my current order volume)
What is the payment process and what methods do you accept?
To schedule your commission, a 50% down payment is required, and the remaining 50% is due when the artwork is finalized. I accept Venmo and Zelle, and I will send you the payment details when I reply to your commission email.
